IP Addresses
Our hosting environment uses shared IP addresses.
To find out the IP Address for your domains from a Windows Computer:
- On the Start Menu, click on Run.
- In the Run box, type cmd.exe and click OK. (On Windows 2000 or Windows XP computers you can also type cmd.)
- At the DOS prompt, type ping followed by an IP address or DNS name.

Dedicated IP Addresses ($40 setup and $5 a month)
Using your own Private SSL Certificate.
This applies only if you want your own SSL certificate. SSL certificates are required for accepting credit cards online. If you are using our shared SSL you don’t need a dedicated IP.
Anonymous FTP
To enable anonymous FTP, Cpanel requires that you have a dedicated IP for the function to work properly. |
